Painting with Parkinson’s

Instructor Sasha Roberts-Levi

Artist and Educational Therapist, Sasha Roberts-Levi brings the spirit that everyone is born creative and can learn to draw or paint or express their creativity to her instruction. If you want to learn how to paint with acrylics and you have Parkinson’s then this class is for you. Sasha provided personalized instruction based on your skill level and creative goals. We will explore color theory and paint mixing and techniques that allow you to complete a painting in a few sessions.   High-quality art materials are provided to create vibrant clarity of color. Students with no or little prior drawing or painting experience are welcome. Overriding all else, there is respect for each individual and an empathetic understanding of the path being traveled by both those with Parkinson’s and those who care for them.

Classes this Winter are Wednesdays from 1:00 – 3:30 pm.
