Held under the umbrella of the Arts and Acts Festival, The Art in the Sun & Maker’s Mart fairs highlight the beauty and utility of artisans and craftsman from around the country. Located in beautiful Downtown Northville, an affluent and picturesque enclave between Ann Arbor and Detroit, Arts and Acts attracts a crowd of 20,000 visitors truly interested in art.
Talented artists from around the state and country apply every year to be a part of this vibrant festival. Artists are chosen by jury.
Art in the Sun showcases a variety of quality contemporary art by fine artists for everyone’s budget including ceramics, fiber art, glass, jewelry, paintings, photography, metal works, wood sculpture, and more. Online applications are accepted October 1 through March 1.
Maker’s Mart showcases artisans selling handcrafted work from crochet to stained glass, soap to handmade bags, and home décor to clothing. Meet the makers and buying these unique creations for yourself and as gifts. Online applications are accepted October 1 thru March 15.
