-First held in 1999, the exhibition is held annually to promote the appreciation and importance of arts education. This year the Northville Art House celebrates the spirit of creativity through the work of 27 students in Grades 6 – 12 from Northville Public Schools.
The artwork is juried by the Northville Art House Exhibition Committee. Prizes totaling over $200 to given for 1st Place: $50, 2nd Place: $25, and 3rd Place: $10 as well as Honorable Mention Awards at an Awards Ceremony to be held on Wednesday, April 7, 7 pm.
Brian Balcoff, Instructor and coordinator for the NPS Virtual Art Exhibition at Northville High School, shares, “Art is like a handwritten letter, hot soup, and a glass of Vernors – soothing, restorative, and simply heartfelt! Thank you to the art students for bringing a smile to my face, time after time, year after year, and school day after school day.”
