Even if someone with Parkinson’s Disease has not picked up a paintbrush since grade school, art therapy can help improve physical, psychological and social functioning. Sasha provides personalized instruction based on your skill level and creative goals. Students will explore color theory, paint mixing and techniques that allow them to complete a painting in a few sessions. Students with no or little prior drawing or painting experience are welcome.
Overriding all else, there is respect for each individual and an empathetic understanding of the path being traveled by both those with Parkinson’s and those who care for them.
Materials: A material list will be provided to new students by the instructor.
Register: 1 – Day Session, Select Date | $15 (m) / $20 (nm)
