Anatomy for Artists with Amy Foster

Anatomy for Artists with Amy Foster

As always, in classes or workshops, I can SUGGEST supplies that would be beneficial to use for this workshop.  If you already own drawing utensils and sketchbooks that you prefer, please feel free to bring those along to the first day of class.  It is not my intention to make you purchase new materials if you already have a sufficient supply on hand.  That said, this is what I suggest…

suggested drawing utensils:

Range of graphite pencils (Hb, 2b, 4b)

 Vine charcoal

 Kneadable eraser

suggested drawing papers:

18″ x 24″ spiral bound sketch paper pad (no newsprint, please)

11 x 14 hard bound sketch book or hard cover spiral bound book (to paste handouts into and create an anatomy book to work in for future use)

suggested book to bring if you already own it:

“Atlas of Human Anatomy for Artists” by Stephen Rogers Peck

I will be bringing a list of all the books that I’ll be showing throughout the week of the workshop… you may want to wait before purchasing any new books until you see which book is the right fit for you.  If you have any questions concerning the supply list, please don’t hesitate to contact me directly.  Thanks so much – looking forward to the workshop!
