After School Art Program

After School Art Program

The Young Artists After-School Art Program at Northville Art House, in partnership with the Parent Teacher Association PTA, offers parents the option of providing their child, grades K – 5, quality after-school instruction in the visual arts.

Goals of the program include:

  • support for local Parent Teacher Associations
  • provide safe after-school enrichment programming
  • foster an appreciation for the general knowledge of the arts
  • build students’ confidence in their own artistic abilities
  • increase experience in and knowledge of the visual arts
  • increase awareness of the Northville Art House, its programs and its mission

Northville Art House gives back to your PTA

For every student that signs up for an art class, we give $3 per student back to your PTA.

  • In 2016-2017, we gave back a total of $1,038 to Amerman, Thornton Creek and Silver Springs.
  • In 2017 – 2018,  we gave back a total of $1,250 to Amerman, Thornton Creek, Silver Springs and Moraine.
  • In 2018 – 2019, we reached 183 students and gave back $1461 to Amerman, Thornton Creek, Silver Springs and Moraine.

A special thank you to the Northville Community Foundation for their support of our mission to Cultivate the Arts through Creative Experiences and Educational Programs in the Community.  The Northville Art House received $2500 towards our After School Art Program through a 2018/2019 Community Foundation’s grant.
