Student Art Exhibition

First held in 1999, the Northville Public Schools Student Art Exhibition features artwork created in a variety of media and styles by young artists in Grades 6 – 12 from the local community. This year the exhibition will once again be presented online. Thank you to the teachers, parents, guardians and sponsors who help make the exhibition possible.

March 22 – April 9: NPS Student Virtual Art Exhibition

2021 1st Place Award – Hamin Park, Breakfast in Quebec, marker and colored pencil, 9″ x 18″

Eligibility: All students in Grades 6 – 12 from Northville Public Schools

Jurors: Northville Art House Exhibition Committee 

Prizes: 1st: $50, 2nd: $25, 3rd: $10 and Honorable Mention Awards.

Entry fee: $5 for Grades 6 -12

Deadline: All entries submitted by Sunday, March 6, 11:59 PM EST. 

Notification of Acceptance: Via email on Friday, March 11 by 5:00 PM EST.

Exhibition Zoom Presentation: Wednesday, March 23, 7 – 8 pm


  • All original 2D and 3D work is accepted except video or electronic.
  • Work does not have to be created at school.
  • Work must be created in last 4 years and not previously exhibited in the gallery or online at the Art House.
  • Artists DO NOT have to have artwork framed for the virtual exhibition

Entry Procedures:

  • Complete contact and artwork information
  • Can submit/upload up to 2 works of art
  • Please take a high quality image of your artwork as this image will be presented online for the public to view.
  • Label artwork image LastName-Title.jpg  (ex. Smith-HouseonaHill.jpg)
  • Grades 6 – 8: Optional but encouraged to complete artist statement/description section; See Examples.
  • Grades 9 – 12: Required to complete artist statement/ description section; See Examples.
  • Entry fee: $5 for all Grades
