Our Places: Plein Air Exhibition
August 2 – 23, 2024
Outdoor places reveal extraordinary colors, textures, and design. Some places are far away, while others are outside your back door. A favorite place connects you with nature and can bring you happiness, creativity, and comfort. Artists are invited to paint their favorite outdoor places at a location of their choice between May 21 – July 21 with the resulting artworks to be included in the exhibition.
Live at Five Reception: Friday, August 2, 5 – 8 pm with 6:15 pm Award Presentation
Awards Juror: Gisvi Y. Pardo de Reyes, Art Historian, Artist, and Owner of Gisvi Art Studio and Custom Framing
Gallery Viewing Hours: Monday – Friday, 9 am – 3:30 pm and during special events.

At Live at Five meet the plein-air artists and listen to live music outdoors (weather permitting) as you stroll through the galleries. Light fare, and cash bar. $5 at the door.

Saturday, August 10, 12 pm – 2 pm: Art & Nature Family Celebration
The Northville Art House, 215 W. Cady, Northville, invites you to join us for an afternoon of nature-themed art activities inspired by Our Places: Plein Air Exhibition.
Admission tickets provides access to found nature and plein-air art projects, summertime treats, outdoor games, a scavenger hunt, and more. Exhibition gallery open during the event.
