Young Artist Art Fair Rescheduled

The health and well-being of our artists, families and community guests are of great importance to all of us.

The Governor has recommended that schools, businesses and communities consider canceling or postponing all non-essential events/gatherings of more than 100 people in a shared space.

In keeping with this recommendation, we are postponing the Young Artist Juried Art Fair planned for Saturday, March 14th. The health and welfare of our artists, families and community members that would be attending this event is our utmost priority.

These artists have been working hard to prepare for this art fair and our hope is that we can still have this event before school is out. With that being said, we have secured the First Presbyterian Church of Northville for Saturday, May 9, 10:30 – 3:00 pm. We will continue to keep you updated if any changes occur.

The Northville Art House at this time remains open for our small art classes, gallery and artisan store. We have developed a protocol of cleaning furniture and tables before and after class and an emphasis on more frequent cleaning of touchpoints (i.e. doorknobs, railings, frequently touched surfaces). There is hand sanitizer as well as gloves available for use. If you are not feeling well, we recommend that you stay at home.

Thank you for your understanding and helping to get this out to our community.

Sincerely,

Erin Maten
Executive Director
