Art & Nature Family Celebration

Saturday, August 10, 12 pm – 2 pm

Inspired by Our Places: Plein Air Exhibition, the Northville Art House invites you to join us for an afternoon of nature-inspired art activities. Your $5 admission provides access to two different art projects, scavenger hunts, outdoor games, summer treats, and more.

Pre-registration open now until Friday, August 9, 11:59 pm. On-site registration opens Saturday, August 10 at 11 am.

Guests will create an nature-themed art project from found natural materials and participate in outdoor sketching project with instructor Sandra Nursilo. There will be outdoor yard games and an indoor and outdoor scavenger hunt involving local environment and artwork in the gallery.

August 2 – August 23: Our Places: Plein-Air Exhibition

Outdoor places reveal extraordinary colors, textures, and design. Some places are far away, while others are outside your back door. A favorite place connects you with nature and can bring you happiness, creativity, and comfort. Artists are invited to paint their favorite outdoor places  at a location of their choice between May 21 – July 21 with the resulting artworks to be included in the exhibition.
