We are delighted to welcome you back to the Northville Art House! The well-being of our visitors and staff are our top priority, and we have adjusted our visitor experience to meet health and safety guidelines.


VISITOR GUIDELINES

Face Coverings: All visitors ages 2 and up must wear face coverings. Masks are available upon request.

Practice Social Distancing: Please stay at least 6 feet from anyone not in your household group during your visit. Groups should remain together. Children must stay with adults at all times.


Maximum Building Capacity: A maximum of twelve (12) visitors are allowed in the building for exhibition viewing, artisan store shopping and in-person class registration. Access is allowed to the Lower Level restroom, First Floor artisan store and Second Floor exhibition galleries.

Maximum Store Capacity: A maximum of two (2) visitors (of the 12 allowed in the building) are permitted in the artisan store unless visitors are from the same household group.

The Lower Level classroom is reserved for staff, instructors, volunteers and registered students only.


Clockwise Traffic Flow: Visitors are encouraged to begin the viewing experience in the Main Exhibition Gallery, followed by the Emerging Artist Wall, and concluding in the Artisan Store. Visitors should follow a clockwise directional flow in the gallery to help maintain social distancing.

Credit Cards & Checks Preferred: Credit or debit cards and checks are the preferred payment for artwork, gift or class registration.


Stay Home If You Are Sick: If you are feeling unwell, please reschedule your visit to the Art House. If you experience a fever, cough or shortness of breath during your visit, please leave the building and contact your health care provider, or find a staff member for immediate assistance.

Enhanced Cleaning: Staff frequently cleans high-touch areas in the building. Hand sanitizer is available throughout the building.

As state and local authorities continue to evolve their COVID-related policies we will continue to assess new directives and provide the appropriate health guidelines.

The Art House OPENS Saturday, August 1.

Sunday – Tuesday | CLOSED
Wednesday – Friday |  1o am – 3 pm
Saturday  11 pm – 3 pm

The Art House will be CLOSED Sunday, August 23 – Monday, August 31 for cleaning and installation of the next exhibition.

City of Northville Construction & Road Closures – Summer 2020 (Last Update July 31)

The Public Parking Lot next to the Art House has been paved, however, is not accessible. Street parking is available on W. Cady Street toward the Art House and past S. Wing Street or in the Public Parking Lot across from the U.S. Post Office.


The Northville Art House is not open the following times and holidays:

New Year’s Day
Good Friday, Holy Saturday & Easter Sunday
Memorial Day Weekend (Saturday – Monday)
Month of July (Open for Summer Camps)
Labor Day Weekend (Sunday – Monday)
Thanksgiving (Wednesday – Sunday)
Last 2 weeks in December through January 1 (December 16, 2020 – January 1, 2021)

ACCESSIBILITY

Everyone is welcome at the Art House. We offer a variety of programs and services to make the Art House accessible to you. Our classroom and bathrooms are wheelchair accessible by entering through the back door near the handicapped parking. Views of our second floor gallery and opening receptions are available online. Service dogs are welcome.
