Creative Connections Memory Cafe

What is a Memory Cafe? According to the Memory Cafe Alliance, Memory Cafes are welcoming social gatherings for people living with changes in their memory or thinking, and the people who care about them. A Cafe is a place to have fun together, talk with others who understand what you’re going through, and express yourself creatively by trying something new!

The Art House is proud to host Creative Connections,” a program that features two Memory Cafes each month: one focused on visual arts, and one focused on music. Each Creative Connections program will feature refreshments and time for socialization, a guided exploration of an artwork, and a hands-on workshop. 

The Northville Art House offers two Memory Cafe programs each month:

Visual Arts Memory Cafe – Mondays, 1:30-3 pm

  • September 14
  • October 19
  • November 16
  • December 7

Musical Memory Cafe  – Thursdays, 1:30-3 pm

  • September 24
  • October 29*
  • November 19*
  • December 17*

*The October, November, and December Musical Memory Cafes will meet at the Northville Community Centr

Advanced registration for this free program is encouraged so we can be sure to have enough supplies.
