YOUTH CLASSES & WORKSHOPS

Youth Spring Break Classes and Workshops for Ages 5 – 17, offer the opportunity to experiment, learn, and develop art skills in small classroom sizes. Visual art instruction covers painting, drawing, printmaking, hand-sculpture, photography, graphic design, crafts, and mixed-media. Programs are led by Art House instructors and offered in daily sessions in the classroom. Classes limited to 10-12 students.

REFUND / CANCELLATION POLICY

A refund will be issued minus a 10% non-refundable deposit on ALL classes and workshops when cancelled 48 hours or more before the first class or workshop starts. Students who wish to cancel less than 48 hours before the first day of class are not eligible for a refund or credit.

Pop-up Pop Art Workshop for Ages 7-9

In person classes will be held in the classroom.

Create a colorful paper collage that pops off the page. Students will make their own paste papers with colorful patterns then cut them into abstract shapes creating a one of a kind, dimensional artwork.

 

 


Fun and Functional Workshop for Ages 8+

Instructor: Helen Agius-Andreae

Day: Wednesday
Time: 1:00 pm – 2:30 pm
One-Day Workshop (M) $55; (NM) $60
In-person at the Art House / Max of 12 students

Give your kids a fun experience working with fused glass to create their own 6” dish or bowl! They will learn how to cut and nip colorful pieces of glass that they will stack on a base piece of compatible glass to create their unique design.

No experience necessary. All tools and supplies will be provided.

Pieces will be fused and slumped in a kiln and ready for pick-up in approximately two weeks.
