Summer Art Camps offer youth and teens creative opportunities to try a new medium, develop as artist, and expand their art portfolio. Led by Art House instructors, the camps start on June 19 and run in weekly morning and afternoon sessions through the end of August. One-day workshops also offered. Space is limited so register early.

A full refund will be issued minus the 10% non-refundable deposit at least 2 weeks before the first day of camp. Students who wish to cancel less than 2 weeks before the first day of camp are not eligible for a refund.

Explore space in this mixed media camp. Projects including a robot canvas painting, learn to draw an astronaut, rockets and distant planets. Even learn how to sculpt an alien out of clay.

Architectural Rendering teaches everything you need to know about rendering photorealistic interior architectural scenes. The class taps into different components that add a sense of depth and realism to professional designs, including materials, and exterior elements like trees, grass, and people.
Artists will bring their own lawn chair.
In case of rain, we will use the Church building at Mill Race.

Urban sketching is a drawing while on location in areas that you live in or traveling to. Learn to sketch of surroundings, groups of building, stores, temples, concerts, parks -you can sketch it! It’s a great informal way to document the world you live in. We will acquire the skills of reading proportion, scaling, vanishing point.
Artists will bring their own lawn chair.
In case of rain, we will use our gallery space at the Art House.

Get inspired by creatures you might find in your backyard and create arts and crafts you can use in the garden. We will make an animal shaped flower pot and plant flowers in it on the last day of camp. Materials will include acrylic paint, pastels, watercolor, clay and natural materials like skeleton leaves, shells and sand.

Using acrylic paint, charcoal, graphite pencils and watercolor students will create amazing animal art. Learn techniques for capturing the unique textures of fur, animal skin and animal eyes.

Young campers will let their imaginations run wild in this painting and drawing camp. Projects include drawing a castle, a mermaid collage, painting a dragon and making a magic wand.

Learn how to design and draw your own fashion collection and make fashion accessories like jewelry, a purse, tie dye t-shirts and paint a silk scarf.

Experiment with form, texture and color while learning different approaches to creating abstract art. We will draw and paint to different music, use chance to dictate our color choices and work on a collaborative group project among other experimental artworks.

Sign your child up to make a whimsical fused glass Wind Chime!
The kids will stack colorful pieces of pre-fused and precut fusible glass on base pieces of clear glass. They will also be taught simple nipping techniques to create their unique design. Projects will be fused in a kiln and will be assembled. Pick-up will be approximately ten days after the workshop.

Give your kids a fun experience working with fused glass to create their own dish or bowl! They will learn how to cut and nip colorful pieces of glass that they will stack on a base piece of compatible glass to create their unique design. No experience necessary. All tools and supplies will be provided.
Pieces will be fused in a kiln and ready for pick-up in approximately two weeks.

Kids will create a unique Fishbowl Sun Catcher by stacking and placing colorful precut pieces of glass on a flat glass base.
