Summer Art Camps offer youth and adults creative opportunities to try a new medium, develop as artist, and expand their art portfolio. Led by Art House instructors, the camps typically start the third week in June and run in morning and afternoon sessions. Limited capacity.

Summer Camp: Intro to Theatre ARTs for Grades 1st – 5th

A wonderful introduction to the world of action and developing skills and techniques to start as a performer. This camp is designed to develop children’s confidence through self-expression, dramatic play, imaginative games and story telling.


Summer Camp: Cartoon Week for Grades 2nd – 6th

Join us for a fun cartoon art camp! We’ll draw and add color to our very own cartoon characters, create stories and get inspired by other cartoon artists!


Summer Camp: Wild Animals / Wild Colors for Grades 3rd – 5th

Learn to draw and paint monkeys, zebras, lizards and MORE using bright and bold colors. One class will be reserved for creating animals in clay and paper mache.


Summer Camp: Fun at the Beach for Grades 1st & 2nd

Young artists will create art inspired by a day at the beach including a beach landscape using real beach sand, sculpt sea shells out of clay and learn how to draw all kinds of sea creatures. We will use painting and drawing media along  with 3 different kinds of clay.


Summer Camp: World Explorer for Grades 1st & 2nd

Explore the art, animals and scenery of a different country each day. Materials will include acrylic paint, watercolors, markers, pastels, clay and paper mache.


Summer Camp: World Explorer for Grades 3rd – 5th

Make Art inspired by stops around the world: print your own fabric (India), paint the Eiffel Tower (France), draw a colorful Hawaiian landscape and explore Mexican folk art. Explore the art, animals and landscape of a different country each day.


Summer Camp: Pets and People: Drawing & Painting for Grades 3rd – 5th

Learn to draw pets and people! We’ll use paint, pencils, pastel, charcoal and markers to create portraits of pets like: cats, dogs, guinea pigs, rabbits and parrots. We’ll also learn illustration techniques for drawing people including a self portrait.


Summer Camp: Color Explosion for Grades 1st & 2nd

Join us to learn how to make 2D and 3D art filled with bright and bold colors. Projects may include neon paint, metallic oil pastels, paint pouring, and tie dye and mosaics. We will also make our own clay adding different colors and textures to our creations.


Summer Camp: Nature Explorer for Grades 1st &2nd

Create art inspired by nature and use natural materials to make 2D and 3D art including using skeleton leaves in collages, create twig and clay sculptures and experiment with vegetable printing plus much more.


Summer Camp: Sewing, Weaving and Textile Design for Grades 4th – 7th

In this camp, we’ll design, cut and hand sew a softie (pillow-like stuffed animal), we’ll weave a colorful yarn tapestry and print fabric with personalized stamps and rollers. We will also learn to use a sewing machine on the last day to make a pillow with your own printed fabrics.


Summer Camp: Clay Critters for Grades K – 3rd

Explore clay as a sculptural material to create critters of your own imagination. Learn hand-building techniques, different clays and surface treatments.


Summer Camp: Candy Wonderland for Grades 4th – 10th

Join us for a magic trip! We’ll stop to Paris for macarons and croissants, we’ll go to Italy for gelato! In this camp, we’ll use acrylics, clay, we’ll learn how to draw and paint some of our favorite candy and desserts!


Summer Camp: STEAM Camp for Ages 6-10

Days: Monday – Thursday
Time: 9:30 am – 12:30 pm (students should bring a water bottle and small snack)
In-person at the Art House / Max of 12 students

Get ready to have tons of fun while creating amazing science & art projects in this camp for students in grades 1st-5th! We’ll create slime art, design a sharpie pen t-shirt, assemble a color changing bead necklace, create a crystal ornament, build, decorate and launch a rocket and much more!
