May 29 – June 30: Jeanne Pylar – Novi, MI

Jeanne Pylar’s artistic journey began in 2016, sparked by a desire to fill retirement with creative purpose and inspired by a collection of drawings her father left her.  What started as a single drawing class grew into a deep passion for pastels and watercolor.  

Supported by mentors who challenged her to stretch her artistic limits, Jeanne has spent the last ten years mastering the interplay of light and shadow. To Jeanne, art is not just a hobby, but a lens through which to view the world – where a single flower can reveal a multitude of unexpected colors.  Jeanne’s work is a celebration of this daily mindfulness and continuous growth.
