July 2224 & July 30–August 20: City of Northville: Plein-Air Exhibition

The Northville Art House invites artists on a first-come first-serve opportunity to  paint, draw, and sketch in the open air at locations throughout the City of Northville and Historic Downtown, July 22 – 24. Resulting work is presented in an exhibition at the Northville Art House, July 30 – August 20

August 30 – September 24: West of Center: Art That Pushes Boundaries

Seeking original artworks created in any 2D or 3D media to be juried by sculptor, exhibiting artist, and art history and studio instructor Sergio de Guisti.

November 11 – December 17: Small Works Juried All-Media Exhibition

Seeking 2D and 3D artworks on a diminutive scale, limited to 16 inches in all directions, in all media and for sale. Work to be juried by the Northville Art House.

EXHIBITION GALLERY: Solo, Two- and Multi-Person Exhibitions

The Northville Art House offers a floorplan of 780 sq. ft. / 110 running ft. for solo, two-person, and multi-person (3 – 8) exhibitions. Each exhibition typically runs about four weeks and opens with a public reception.

This opportunity is available throughout the year and is typically booked over a year in advance. An Exhibition Committee, made up of artists, art instructors, staff and community leaders, plans and reviews the applications.  If accepted, all artists are required to become members of the Art House before the exhibition.

For two-person and multiple-person exhibitions, each artist should apply separately and list the other participating artist(s).

EXHIBITION GALLERY: Group Affiliated Exhibitions – NEW

The Northville Art House offers a floorplan of 780 sq. ft. / 110 running ft. for groups, clubs, organizations, and societies with member artists. Each exhibition typically runs about four weeks and opens with a public reception.

This opportunity is available throughout the year and is typically booked over a year in advance. An Exhibition Committee, made up of artists, art instructors, staff and community leaders, plans and reviews the applications. If accepted, at least one artist must be a member of the Art House and an exhibition fee paid before the exhibition.

EMERGING ARTIST WALL: Emerging Artists Exhibitions

The Emerging Artist Wall, measuring 8’ x 8’, offers artists without significant exhibition experience to gain exposure of their 2D work. Accepted artists typically reside in Michigan or within driving distance from the Midwest. Each exhibition typically runs seven to eight weeks and opens with a public reception. 

This opportunity is available throughout the year and is typically booked 6-months in advance. If accepted, the artist is required to become a member of the Art House before the exhibition.
