The Northville Art House presents juried, invitational, and open call exhibitions for the Main Exhibition Gallery and Emerging Artist Wall. Opportunities are available for 2024 and beyond for the these galleries. CURRENT – ONGOING


April 11 – May 6: LIGHT & COLOR: JURIED PASTEL EXHIBITION

U.S. Artists, 18 and over, may submit up to 3 ORIGINAL works created in at least 80% pastel – hard, soft, dry, pencil, oil, and/or PanPastel. All subjects and styles eligible. Work must be created within the last 5 years, and not previously exhibited at the Northville Art House. Work should be framed under glass or plexiglass. The maximum size of all artworks including the frame is 54” in any direction. Juror: Jill Stefani Wagner, PSA-MP, IAPS/MC

Deadline: Sunday, February 26, 11:59 PM EST.


March 21 – April 1: NPS Student Virtual Art Exhibition

The Northville Public Schools Student Virtual Art Exhibition features artwork created in a variety of media and styles by young artists from Northville Public Schools. Students in Grades 6 – 12 are invited to submit works to this online exhibition

Deadline: Sunday, March 5, 11:59 PM EST.


May 19 – June 18: A Day in the Park: Images of the Michigan State Park

The Northville Art Houseis seeking original artwork depicting a Michigan State Park by U.S. artists, 18 and older created within the last 5 years, and not previously exhibited at the Northville Art House. The maximum size of all artworks including the frame is 32” in any direction. Representational and abstraction accepted. 

Deadline: Sunday, April 2, 11:59 PM EST.


EXHIBITION GALLERY: Solo, Two- and Multi-Person Exhibitions

The Northville Art House offers a floorplan of 780 sq. ft. / 110 running ft. for solo, two-person, and multi-person (3 – 8) exhibitions. Each exhibition typically runs about four weeks and opens with a public reception.

This opportunity is available throughout the year and is typically booked over a year in advance. An Exhibition Committee, made up of artists, art instructors, staff and community leaders, plans and reviews the applications.  If accepted, all artists are required to become members of the Art House before the exhibition.

For two-person and multiple-person exhibitions, each artist should apply separately and list the other participating artist(s).

EXHIBITION GALLERY: Group Affiliated Exhibitions

The Northville Art House offers a floorplan of 780 sq. ft. / 110 running ft. for groups, clubs, organizations, and societies with member artists. Each exhibition typically runs about four weeks and opens with a public reception.

This opportunity is available throughout the year and is typically booked over a year in advance. An Exhibition Committee, made up of artists, art instructors, staff and community leaders, plans and reviews the applications. If accepted, at least one artist must be a member of the Art House and an exhibition fee paid before the exhibition.

EMERGING ARTIST WALL: Emerging Artists Exhibitions

The Emerging Artist Wall, measuring 8’ x 8’, offers artists without significant exhibition experience to gain exposure of their 2D work. Accepted artists typically reside in Michigan or within driving distance from the Midwest. Each exhibition typically runs seven to eight weeks and opens with a public reception. 

This opportunity is available for 2024 and beyond and is typically booked 6-months in advance. If accepted, the artist is required to become a member of the Art House before the exhibition.
