Artists please read and follow the Terms and Conditions and Art Exhibition and Sales Agreement with recommended Presentation Standards for all exhibitions. While our exhibitions encourage artists to freely to express themselves, the Northville Art House is a community gallery and artwork that includes significant elements of sexually explicit imagery, overtly political or religious content, graphic depiction of violence and hatred, or profanity may not be considered for inclusion.
The 2025 Emerging Artist Series will feature the artwork of teenage artists, ages 13 – 19, residing in Southeast Michigan. The exhibition is an opportunity for artists to gain exposure for their 2D work. There will be 8 exhibitions held throughout the year and each will open with a public reception. Applications will be juried by the Northville Art House Exhibition Committee. If accepted, the artist is required to become a member of the Art House before the exhibition. Student memberships are $25. More details found on the application form.

*Artists who submit applications for Deadline #1 review but not accepted, will be reconsidered during the deadline #2 review process. You do not need to apply again.
The Northville Art House in partnership with Tuscan Cafe, located at 141 E Main St in Downtown Northville, offers three wall spaces for solo exhibitions of 10 – 18 small to medium 2D works, up to 48″. The walls measure: right side 20″ x 3″, left side 10″ x 3″, and front 10″ x 6″ (l x h). Each exhibition, part of the Downtown Artist Series, typically runs about eight – ten weeks. There is no reception. The café generously provides the space while the installation of artwork and sales transactions are handled by Art House staff. If accepted, the artist is required to have a current membership with the Art House before the exhibition.
The Northville Art House in partnership with the Northville DDA, located at 215 W Main St in Downtown Northville, offers multiple wall spaces for a solo exhibition of 10 – 18 large 2D artworks, 24″ and up. Northville themed work encouraged but not required. The space typically receives 300 – 500 visitors a week for community meetings. Each exhibition will typically run about three months. There is no reception. The DDA generously provides the space while the installation of artwork and sales transactions are handled by the Art House. An Art House membership is NOT required.
The Northville Art House offers a floorplan of 780 sq. ft. / 110 running ft. for solo, two-person, and multi-person (3 – 8) exhibitions. Each exhibition typically runs about four weeks and opens with a public reception. This opportunity is available throughout the year and is typically booked over a year in advance. An Exhibition Committee, made up of artists, art instructors, staff and community leaders, plans and reviews the applications. If accepted, all artists are required to have a current memberships with the Art House before the exhibition. For two-person and multiple-person exhibitions, each artist should apply separately and list the other participating artist(s).
The Northville Art House offers a floorplan of 780 sq. ft. / 110 running ft. for groups, clubs, organizations, and societies with member artists. Each exhibition typically runs about four weeks and opens with a public reception. This opportunity is available throughout the year and is typically booked over a year in advance. An Exhibition Committee, made up of artists, art instructors, staff and community leaders, plans and reviews the applications.
