Workshops

Youth, Teen, and Adult Workshops offer the opportunity for students to experiment, learn, and develop art skills in small classroom sizes. Adult workshops are for ages 16+ unless otherwise noted. Workshops are led by Northville Art House instructors and are offered in one- or two-day sessions. Each workshop is limited to 10 students. Register today!

REFUND / CANCELLATION POLICY

A refund will be issued minus a 10% non-refundable deposit on ALL classes and workshops when cancelled 48 hours or more before the first class or workshop starts. Students who wish to cancel less than 48 hours before the first day of class are not eligible for a refund or credit.

EXTRA ACTIVE SERVICES

When you complete your purchase, ACTIVE may prompt you to enroll in ACTIVE Refund, ACTIVE Advantage, or other service. We highly recommend that you CLICK NO.  These programs and fees are associated, charged, and collected by ACTIVE.COM and not the Art House. Preschool Playdate: The All-Together Quilt for ages 2-5

Join us for a fun monthly program designed for preschoolers (ages 2-5) and their favorite grown-up. Each month we’ll read a story, look at artworks, and create a special art project inspired by what we see.

Cyanotype: Camera-less Photography Workshop for ages 9-14

Materials included. 

In this two-hour workshop, participants will create unique cyanotype images using a camera-less photography technique invented in 1842. By placing flat objects on paper coated with an iron salt solution, exposing them to UV light, and rinsing with water, they’ll produce stunning white and Prussian blue prints. Participants can also enhance their images with light watercolor washes.


Spring Blossom T-Shirt Painting Workshop for ages 16+
