
Youth Classes and Workshops for ages 5-17 and offer the opportunity to experiment, learn, and develop art skills in small classroom sizes. Instruction includes drawing, painting, mixed media, sewing, singing, and more. Programs are led by Art House instructors and offered in daily or weekly sessions. Classes limited to 10-12 students.

REFUND / CANCELLATION POLICY
A refund will be issued minus a 10% non-refundable deposit on ALL classes and workshops when cancelled 48 hours or more before the first class or workshop starts. Students who wish to cancel less than 48 hours before the first day of class are not eligible for a refund or credit.

Get ready to kick off the holiday season with creativity and laughter! In this fun, hands-on workshop designed just for homeschool kids, students will turn plain sweaters or skirts into festive, one-of-a-kind holiday outfits using colorful fabrics, trims, appliqués, and playful embellishments.
Guided by a professional fashion designer, participants will learn basic hand sewing techniques and explore the art of creative styling—adding their flair to a “pretty ugly” holiday garment that’s anything but boring!
Each student should bring a sweater or a skirt to decorate. All craft supplies and embellishments will be provided.

Step into the world of fashion and creativity! This hands-on class invites teens to explore fashion design, sewing, and creative expression in a fun, supportive studio environment. Students will learn the basics of fashion design, hand sewing, embroidery, and how to use a sewing machine. They’ll also discover how clothing and accessories are created—from concept to construction.
Each student will choose their own creative project to work on, whether designing an accessory, upcycling a garment, or customizing something new. Guided by a professional fashion designer, students will explore their personal style and learn new skills through experimentation, design thinking, and self-expression. No experience needed—just creativity, curiosity, and a love for fashion!

There are many different approaches to drawing animals. We will explore several strategies, from using a cartoon style to realistically rendering fur and skin. Leave class with several sketches and a finished, matted animal artwork.

This one-day workshop invites kids to explore fashion, art, and sustainability. Students will transform old garments into new creations using hand-sewing, basic embroidery, and surface design techniques like painting and stenciling.
Students will learn how to deconstruct garments, manipulate fabrics, and remake them into fresh, personalized pieces. Participants can bring old clothing and accessories—such as jeans, t-shirts, jackets, or other items ready for a second life—and experiment with colors, patterns, and textures to express their unique style. No experience needed—just creativity and imagination!

Celebrate Valentine’s season with a fun, hands-on sewing workshop! Perfect for beginners, this class introduces kids to the basics of sewing while inspiring creativity and self-expression.
Participants will choose colorful fabrics, learn how to use simple patterns, and sew their own heart-shaped pillow—or create a custom “stuffy” of their choice! Each student will design, stitch, and stuff their project to take home a cozy, handmade creation. Whether made as a gift or a snuggly keepsake, every piece will be crafted with love and lots of fun!

Materials included
Join us as we dive into the fundamentals of songwriting and learn the fun and freedom of putting words to music. The goal of the class will be to write one song as a group, as well as have the space and coaching for working on songs individually, as well. There will be multiple songwriting techniques covered, including a fun technique to write melodies invented by the instructor. Class concludes in a small private concert held at the Art House on March 28 at 11 am, where the students will perform the songs written in class.

In this fun and creative workshop, kids will learn hand embroidery basics. Using colorful threads and fabric, they will create an embroidered art piece to take home. Each child will keep an embroidery hoop to continue practicing and creating more designs at home. Students will explore ways to personalize their clothing and accessories—adding their names or unique designs to sweaters, tote bags, jean pockets, and more! This workshop is perfect for young creatives who love hands-on projects and want to develop a new skill in a fun and relaxed environment.
