
Call for Artists! The current calls are for Members Art Exhibit and Art of the Story. Year-round open calls are for 2026 and beyond in our main gallery and emerging artist wall as well as at our community partner venues Tuscan Café and Northville DDA. Store opportunities are available throughout the year.
April 17 – May 16 | Members Art Exhibit | Reception: Friday, April 17, 5 – 8 pm
We welcome all Art House members to share their unique artistic voices and styles with one free entry 2D or 3D artwork into the exhibition. All work must be 32 inches or less. Size includes any frame.
May 29 – June 30 | Art of the Story: Juried All-Media Exhibition
Art of the Story invites artists to select a fiction or nonfiction book that moves them and submit up to 3 works in any medium that visually interpret, inspired by, or respond to its pages. Juried by Katie Rothley, Marketing & Public Relations Librarian at the Northville District Library, this exhibition celebrates the magic of storytelling and the creative journeys it inspires.
March 24 – April 2: NHS Virtual Art Exhibition
First held in 1999, this annual exhibition invites student artists in Grades 9 – 12 from Northville High School to apply. Each artist is recognized and given insight and feedback on their creative work during a virtual presentation. Prizes awarded. Download Flyer >>

The Northville Art House in partnership with Tuscan Cafe, located at 141 E Main St in Downtown Northville, offers wall spaces for solo exhibitions of 12 – 15 artworks. Each exhibition, part of the Downtown Artist Series, typically runs about 8-10 weeks. There is no reception. The café generously provides the space while the installation of artwork and sales transactions are handled by Art House staff. An Art House membership is NOT required.
The Northville Art House in partnership with the Northville City Hall / DDA, located at 215 W Main St in Downtown Northville, offers multiple wall spaces for a solo exhibition of 12 – 15 artworks. The space typically receives 300 – 500 visitors a quarter for community meetings. Each exhibition will typically run about 3-4 months. There is no reception. The City Hall/DDA generously provides the space while the installation of artwork and sales transactions are handled by the Art House. An Art House membership is NOT required.

The Northville Art House offers a floorplan of 780 sq. ft. / 110 running ft. for solo, two-person, and multi-person (3 – 8) exhibitions. Each exhibition typically runs about 4 weeks and opens with a public reception. This opportunity is available throughout the year and is typically booked over a year in advance. An Exhibition Committee, made up of artists, art instructors, staff and community leaders, plans and reviews the applications. For two-person and multiple-person exhibitions, each artist should apply separately and list the other participating artist(s). If accepted, at least one artist must be a member of the Art House.

The Northville Art House offers a floorplan of 780 sq. ft. / 110 running ft. for groups, clubs, organizations, and societies with member artists. Each exhibition typically runs about four weeks and opens with a public reception. This opportunity is available throughout the year and is typically booked over a year in advance. An Exhibition Committee, made up of artists, art instructors, staff and community leaders, plans and reviews the applications. The 2026 Emerging Artist Series of exhibitions serve as an opportunity for artists residing in Southeast Michigan to gain exposure for their 2D work. Approximately 8 – 12 pieces depending on the size can be installed in the space with each exhibition typically running about four weeks and opening with a public reception with the main gallery. This opportunity is available throughout the year. An Exhibition Committee, made up of artists, art instructors, staff and community leaders, plans and reviews the applications. If accepted, at least the artist must become a member of the Art House.
Artists please read and follow the Terms and Conditions and Art Exhibition and Sales Agreement with recommended Presentation Standards for all exhibitions. While our exhibitions encourage artists to freely to express themselves, the Northville Art House is a community gallery and artwork that includes significant elements of sexually explicit imagery, overtly political or religious content, graphic depiction of violence and hatred, or profanity may not be considered for inclusion.
